The Lynnfield Summer Reading Plant a Seed, Read 2026 has come to a close. It was another fantastic summer with our community reading over 4,000 books in total! Our Summer Reading Jar is overflowing with stars!
Our Summer Reading was off to a great start with bubbles, balloon twisting, face painting, big trucks and Richie’s Italian Ice! This year we ended the Kickoff with a Cure for the Common Show with Bryson Lang. Thank you to the Friends of the Lynnfield Library, Lynnfield Tree Committee, The Lynnfield Fire Department, and the Reading Municipal Light Department for joining us this summer. BIG thank you to our Teen Volunteers that helped with our Summer Reading Kickoff!
The Library was back at MarketStreet this summer with more amazing performances with Magic Fred, Ready, Set, Grow with Mike Bent and Juggling with Linda.
We also had a ton of fun at the Library too this summer! We had an afternoon of magic with Jungle Jim and got crafty with Ms. Renee during her Summer Saturdays series. We finished the summer strong with a performance by Lindsay and Her Puppet Pals.
We had such a blast this summer and can’t wait to do it again next year! All raffle prize winners, Topsfield Fair Read to Win and Cowabunga Bounce Pass recipients have been contacted with instructions on how to pick up their prizes. All Topsfield Fair Read to Win packets and Cowabunga Bounce Passes must be picked up by September 12th.
