In 2019, the Lynnfield Public Library developed a substance use disorder recovery collection in collaboration with Carly Caggiano, a registered nurse, and Peg Sallade, coordinator of A Healthy Lynnfield, the Town’s substance abuse prevention coalition. We continue to add to and update this very important collection. These resources are available for patrons in recovery, as well as family members or those looking to support a friend or colleague on their recovery journey. The Lynnfield Public Library would like to thank patron Carly Caggiano and Peg Sallade for their collaboration in developing and promoting the recovery collection. This collaboration has resulted in a resource that will hopefully fill a need for our patrons. The collection is located under the mezzanine at the end of the adult non-fiction health subject area to allow for privacy while browsing. You may view the collection sorted by subject in the catalog at this link. Contact Pat Kelly at 78-334-5411 or kelly@noblenet.org for more information or for assistance with the collection.
