Help kids in our community succeed this coming school year! The Lynnfield Public Library is partnering with Citizens Inn for their annual back-to-school drive by collecting items such
as backpacks, pencils, notebooks, crayons, and other essentials that will help kids in our community thrive this coming 2026/2027 school year. The drive will run from now through Wednesday, August 5, 2026 and donations can be dropped off at the Lynnfield Public Library. Our drive supports children and families served by Citizens Inn and continues our partnership with No Child Goes Hungry in Peabody. This includes Lynnfield residents.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of community members and local businesses, Citizens Inn distributed more than 735 filled backpacks to children in need last year. Every backpack, notebook, pencil, and supply donated helps ensure a child starts the school year prepared and confident.
