About the Library Renovation Project

The Town of Lynnfield has engaged Tappé Architects to plan a renovation of the current Lynnfield Public Library building, to address numerous issues with the current building.

The renovation will also enhance the current building by adding the following features:

  • NEW study rooms and a Teen section
  • NEW indoor programming space
  • NEW meeting space for public use
  • Bathrooms added to each floor, including one in the Children’s Room
  • Make the building fully ADA Compliant
  • Fix numerous maintenance issues, (electrical, roof leaks, etc.)
  • Create additional storage space

This page will offer up-to-date information on the Library Renovation Project, to help educate the public on this project. Images of the plans are available throughout the Lynnfield Public Library.

The most current drawings of Tappé Architects’ intended renovations are here. We want to hear from YOU! Please share your thoughts by emailing Library Director Abby Porter at aporter@noblenet.org or filling out this form.
