Like manga? Manga Club for Teens is starting soon. Join us and chat with other fans while eating Japanese snacks and maybe even discover something new! From chats and manga-related crafts/drawing to video games, you will have fun doing the activities you like.
Each month, participants will vote on a title to decide if the title should be added to the library’s collection.
If you cannot join the club in person, we’ve got you covered! Join Beanstack so that you can review and vote on the manga of the month.
Our first meeting is on November 5th. We will meet on the first Tuesdays of the month, from 6-6:30PM in Mezzanine. The Teen Manga Club is for ages 11-18. Registration is recommended.
The manga for November is Delicious in Dungeon. Limited numbers of copies are now available at the circulation, and on Comics Plus.
November’s title, Delicious in Dungeon is a fantasy comedy that mostly takes place in a dungeon! (as the title suggests) A group of adventurers enter a dungeon to save their friend, and learn their ways in a dungeon, and recipes which include cooking monsters. Do not worry, the illustrations of food they cook and eat look surprisingly delicious.
