Land Acknowledgment
The Lynnfield Public Library stands on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Massachusett, the Pawtucket, the Agawam, and the Naumkeag peoples. Indigenous people have lived on this land locally for over 12,000 years, and continue to be an important part of our community.
We ask you to join us in acknowledging and honoring these members of our community, their elders both past and present, as well as future generations who have cared for and continue to cultivate the land and resources that we benefit from today.
