The Library is committed to ensuring everyone in our community has access to the technology they need for work, school, and play. With that in mind, we’ve created a long-term lending program for our Chromebook Kits, giving all patrons access to wifi and a laptop for up to 24 weeks at a time.
Each Chromebook Kit includes a Chromebook, mouse, and hot spot for connecting to the internet. Through the Long-Term Lending Program, each kit can be checked out for 12 weeks, with one renewal of another 12-week period if the kit is not on hold for another patron. This gives patrons up to 24 weeks of access to a kit, as opposed to a total of 9 weeks under our usual lending guidelines.
