Forms Available at the Library

Tax forms have started to arrive. Tax returns are due on April 18, 2023. *Please note that both the federal and state government are recommending that forms be filled out online and are providing fewer hard copies. Ask at the Reference Desk if you need help printing out additional forms from irs.gov or the Massachusetts Department of Revenue. For legal reasons, the library staff are not able to answer specific tax questions. Please consult your tax preparer for questions about your tax filing.

Forms currently available:

IRS 1040/1040SR Forms

IRS 1040 Instructions: these include the 1040 and 1040-SR Instructions as well as the instructions for Schedules 1 through 3 and the LEP Instructions (request for change in language preference)
Massachusetts State Tax Forms

Reference staff can print out a reasonable amount of specific forms and schedules for patrons for no charge. Specific Form/schedule number/letter is encouraged so we get the right materials to patrons.
