The Lynnfield Public Library believes in making all spaces, services, and resources available to all users, including those who may not be able to visit the physical building. Please review the below information before your visit. We are certified Sensory Inclusive through KultureCity and certified a Dementia Friendly Business through Indiana University. Our building is equipped with the following:
- 20 Parking spaces, 2 of which are handicap accessible, including street parking
- A ramp on the left side of the main entrance
- Automatic Doors
- Handicapped-Accessible Women’s and Men’s Restrooms
- Elevator access to all floors
- Computers are the proper height to be operated from a wheelchair
Services:
- Ecards are available for digital services for patrons who cannot make it to the library
- Reference assistance can be provided remotely via email or phone at 781-334-5411
- Worcester Talking Book Library
- Staff are available to assist with using the library’s online catalog or retrieving materials from the shelves
- Curbside pickup – please call ahead and allow 15 minutes to prepare
- One-On-One Technology Appointments (in-person, phone or Zoom) – please email lfd@noblenet.org to set up appointment
- Phone Interpreter Services through Language Line Solutions
Resources:
- Magnifiers to help during browsing or reading: Travel HD Magnifier by Optelec and Ruby Handheld Magnifier.
- An Optelec ClearView magnifier set up on a reading table. The reading table allows patrons to easily and smoothly move texts and objects beneath the video magnifier for optimal viewing. The machine is located near the photocopy machine in the main reading room of the library on the first floor. There is a quick guide located next to the machine and a full manual at the reference desk.

Programming Accommodations:
The Lynnfield Public Library is equipped with OWL Pro hybrid meeting equipment. Please call 781-334-5411 to request a meeting be made hybrid. We may not be able to accommodate all requests, due to the performer’s preferences or the nature of the event, but we will do our best!
