• The Friends of the Lynnfield Public Library is a non-profit (510) (c) (3) organization that supports the many programs and activities of the Library both financially and through hundreds of volunteer hours each year.

  Through fundraising efforts, such as book sales and merchandise sales, the Friends have raised money for the Museum Pass Program, professional development for the staff, and adult and youth programs.   1. Download a Friends Membership Form to print out and pay by mail.

  2.  Visit the Foll website to complete a form online and pay electronically by PayPal.

  Currently, we aren’t in need of any adult volunteers.

• The Friends of the Lynnfield Library hold two book sales annually, in October and May (part of Lynnfield Day).  There are books available to purchase in the Library year round, too.

  We are currently accepting donations!

  Items suitable for donation are:

  • • Hardcover fiction and non-fiction

  • • Large-Print fiction and non-fiction paperbacks

  • • Graphic Novels

  • • All children and young adult materials

  We greatly appreciate your donations of quality used books and media materials. Please check that your donations do not have water damage, ripped or missing pages, mold, stains, or debris.

  
  
  The Friends cannot accept:

  • DVDs
  • VHS tapes
  • Small mass-market paperbacks
  • Textbooks
  • Encyclopedias
  • Reader’s Digest Condensed collections
  • Magazines
  • Computer manuals
  • Games
  • Puzzles

  Bring your boxed or bagged donations to the Library Circulation Desk.  It would be most helpful for the staff if you could use boxes or bags that you can leave at the library with your donations.

  Donations can only be accepted inside the Library and during regular Library business hours. Do not leave donations outside the Library or in drop boxes. Please check the Hours and Closings page or call the Library to verify when the Library is open.
